My philosophy is that you need to speak a language in order to learn it.
I offer a calm, judgmental- free learning environment with interesting conversations and personality enriching encounters.
I do not follow a strict textbook or course since I believe in practicing the desired language by using it.
If you book a session with me we will engage in a conversation according to your level of German, English, or Spanish.
I will analyze your strengths and weaknesses and design the best learning path for you personally.
Learning a language can be very challenging, frustrating and time-consuming. I am here to make your learning process easier, faster, more practical and most importantly, more fun.
My lessons take place virtually through Google Meet.

Meet Larissa
I am a language teacher, veterinarian, riding coach, ranchers wife, and animal lover and mother of two wonderful binational humans.
I am an absolute language enthusiast, speaking German, English and Spanish fluently and French with advanced knowledge.
I have been working as a language teacher and coach for 5 years and find it to be extremely rewarding and one of my favorite things to do professionally.
I know how it feels to arrive in a new country and realize you can't understand a single word. I grew up in Germany speaking German and English, and then moved to the USA to complete my internship in Veterinary Medicine, after which I moved to Mexico to live and work with my husband in his native country on our ranch.
When I moved to México I thought that because I was located close to the US border, everybody would speak English in addition to Spanish, but that was definitely not the case. I had to learn the hard way and I had to learn quickly, far away from friends and family without a single word of Spanish.
In retrospect, it was the most efficient way of learning a language. At some point you have to let go of any self-conciousness and the fear of sounding ridiculous and just speak, and I am to allow my students to approach language in this way in a comfortable, supportive environment.
